Yeah, I've offically killed my photo project. I just had no interest whatsoever in taking that many photos every week! And I didn't want to keep pushing myself to do a project that I really wasn't enjoying. It's weird because that photo project was something I had fun with when I did it a few years ago for the first time. I don't know, things change! But if you liked the photos I posted so far, please follow me on Instagram.
Anyway, I've been thinking a lot about what sort of things I want to post on this blog. This is probably a rant for another day but I get so sick of seeing the same stuff on all the blogs I read. It's a lot of lovely photographs and no substance. So I thought about what I like to see, what really catches my eye when I scroll through my feed. I love to see how people work, the drawing/painting process, inside sketchbooks, basically anything about how people work. So that's what I'm going to try to include more of in my blog. Unfinished pieces, my learning process, sketchbook pages that I normally wouldn't show anyone. If you have a blog, what are you doing to stand out from the crowd?
